AEG is proud to be Title Partner of Taste of London 2015

AEG will inspire, delight and engage with tips and techniques to show visitors to the world’s greatest restaurant festival how to take taste further.

AEG is using the tastiest event in London to show visitors how its latest combination heat and steam ovens and induction hobs unlock flavour, enhance taste and preserve the texture of food for mouthwatering results that a professional would be proud of. London’s leading chefs will be rustling up culinary delights on AEG’s ovens and hobs in the AEG Taste Theatre, while visitors will have a chance to get hands on in the AEG Let’s Taste Live Cooking Experience and see for themselves how appliances with exceptional responsiveness can give exceptional results.

AEG Highlights at Taste of London

The AEG Let’s Taste Live Cooking Experience gives visitors the chance to learn the tricks of the trade as you pick up the tips, techniques and secrets from Jeremy Pang owner of the revered cooking school, School of Wok. Get up close to the action in these intimate hands-on sessions using the latest AEG products. Try out new recipes and learn about the latest cooking methods that will help you take taste further. Each visitor will work on their own AEG induction hob and will learn how to cook a host of delicious dishes, such as Hoisin Cocacola Ribs, Stir Fried Sichuan Chicken, Steamed Scallop Siu Mai, Flash Fried Venison with Tamarind Sauce and Steamed Chilli Wontons.  We are proud that the hob they will use, the 60cm AEG induction hob, has been awarded a coveted Which? Best Buy.

The AEG Taste Theatre will see world renowned chefs including Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Raymond Blanc cook on its combination heat and steam ovens and hobs.

The combination heat and steam oven they will use is the AEG ProCombi Plus. New techniques adapted for the domestic market have been incorporated into this brand new oven to ensure the end result – great tasting food – surpasses all else. The AEG ProCombi Plus is the first combination heat and steam oven that automatically steams, bakes, stews and roasts food for you, and comes with an additional sous vide function.

Taste meets Care

Will Greenwood, England Rugby legend and AEG Grassroots Rugby campaign ambassador will make a special appearance at the festival. The theme for the four year long AEG grassroots campaign revolves around care and all its aspects, from nurturing youth and talent to caring for the kit. A natural partner to care in sport is nutrition and taste, and with this in mind Will Greenwood will be our guest sous chef giving some insights into the culinary secrets and planning of an England Rugby World Cup squad.

The AEG activity at Taste of London will be promoted via a Social Media and Digital Campaign using the #Taketastefurther.
